Product Description:
Reverse osmosis systems are a popular choice for purifying water and are generally made up of pre-treatment and RO main units. To meet the users' specific material and water quality requirements, the RO membrane types can be customized.
The RO membrane is a specialized process membrane created through specific techniques using high molecular materials. It selectively allows only water molecules to pass through while rejecting solutes. By pumping the feedwater at high pressure, it develops a pressure gradient on the semi-permeable membrane. When the pressure exceeds the osmotic pressure on the feedwater side, the water molecules permeate through the membrane, purifying the water.

The reverse osmosis membrane has an incredibly small pore size of 0.0001 micrometers. Comparatively, a typical PP cotton filter cartridge executes a pore size of 5 micrometers , while an ultrafiltration membrane has a pore size of 0.01 micrometers. Specifically, bacteria and heavy metal ions have a pore size of 0.001 micrometers.
