What is Air Compressor Heat Recovery System?
The Air Compressor Heat Recovery System is intended to collect heat produced during the operation of an air compressor and utilize it to heat water.
The heat exchanger intercepts waste heat from the compressor's cooling lubricating oil and transforms it into hot water with an adjustable temperature range of 50-85℃.
Working Principle
Air compressor heat recovery is also called screw air compressor heat recovery water heater. It is a new and efficient waste heat utilization equipment. It can heat up the cold water 100% by absorbing the waste heat of the air compressor, in other words, the air compressor waste heat utilization recovers 100% of the waste heat in the cooling lubricant of the air compressor. The hot water temperature can be adjusted from 50 to 85℃.
When the air compressor works, it converts electrical energy into mechanical energy, and then mechanical energy is converted into wind energy to produce heat energy. The lubricant exhaust temperature of the air compressor is as high as 85-102℃, which contains a large amount of heat energy. This part of the thermal energy is called waste heat before it is utilized and discharged by the fan or cooling water.
This emission produces the greenhouse effect, increases the energy consumption of the plant and pollutes the environment.

- When compressing air, air compressors produce a lot of heat, which is primarily released into the atmosphere through the cooling water, lubricating oil, or air cooling system.
- Through a heat exchanger, the waste heat recovery machine converts this heat into water, which can be used in domestics or businesses at temperatures between 50 and 90°C.
- In order to save energy, the cooled lubricating oil or water is also recycled by being put back into the air compressor.
